CBC Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry operates in connection with the established mission of Capshaw Baptist Church. The ministry is God-centered, Bible based, and committed to helping women of all ages and stages in life strengthen their walk with God through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, diverse ministry opportunities, and the unique encouragement that comes through "women only" sharing. Through Capshaw Baptist Church Women's Ministry, we hope to help women grasp how wide, deep and long is the love of Christ, strengthening them in their relationships at home, church and in the community.

Tables of Love

"Tables of Love" is an annual ministry event when the women of Capshaw reach out to the community and invite friends, family and co-workers to fellowship together by sharing a meal and drinking from God's word. Each year we have a dynamic program planned and a special time of music.

Several weeks prior to the event, ladies sign up to "host" a table. Each hostess provides a centerpiece and table settings for six or eight along with favors for their table guests. There is a social time prior to the start of the program when ladies walk around and "see" all the beautifully decorated tables. It's exciting to see how God has gifted so many creative women.  Each woman is asked to bring a large salad to share.  We hope that you will consider hosting a table in August and joining us for a wonderful night of Christian fellowship!
