Adam Rice

ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Adam holds a degree in Business Administration from Auburn University and a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Along with serving churches in both Alabama and Kentucky, he served 6 years as an Army Chaplain. His primary responsibility at Capshaw is to oversee the disciple-making ministries and administrative needs of the church.

Adam’s passion in ministry is to do the work of equipping others for faithful service in the Kingdom of God. He has a deep desire to help members of the Body understand the transforming power of the gospel and discover how it impacts every facet of life so that they are driven to live on mission as disciple-makers for Christ. He understands the vital importance of both the public and private proclamation of the Word of God through expository preaching, discipleship and biblical counseling.

Adam and his wife Sarah have been married for nine years and have three sons: Luke (8), John Wicks (6), and Nate (3). Most of their time and energy are spent caring for three VERY active and loud little boys.
